It’s been a big week for our team, and for me personally, with the launch of Bastion America. I’ve been buzzing with energy since my first conversation with Ravi and Dean about building a North American agency within the Bastion network, and it’s been so fun to finally share the news with clients, partners, and friends throughout the game industry.
For those just meeting me, a little about my background: I’ve worked in games and technology communications for 20 years, most recently at Amazon, where I led product comms across the game development and publishing businesses. Before Amazon, I spent a decade agency-side, working with a wide variety of game and tech clients. So joining Bastion feels like a return to my roots, with the added benefit of knowing exactly what it’s like to be on the client side.
That’s where I first got to know Bastion. I spent 6+ years working closely with the team, and was consistently impressed by the level of thoughtfulness, expertise and dedication they bring to their work. When Bastion was on a task, I knew it would be done and done well. The sense of ease and security that gave me is what I want Bastion America clients to feel too. Having an agency team you can trust to have good judgment, give sound counsel, and execute cleanly is priceless when you’re juggling multiple priorities with limited resources--and who isn’t, these days?

At a time when the game industry is navigating choppy waters and the media landscape shifts constantly beneath our feet, effective communication that breaks through the noise is both harder and more essential than ever. As we build our dedicated US-based team in the coming year, I’m excited to dig into these challenges. And if you’d like to learn how Bastion America can help tell your story, let’s chat.
