Although this game is in a genre of its own, Pinpoint identified that The Sims and Minecraft players had very similar social behaviours, gaming motivations and frustrations to those who enjoy puzzle games on PC, making them a perfect target audience for the launch of Monument Valley 2 on PC. ​
