In May 2025, poncle launched Berserk or Die as their first published title under the new poncle presents label. With no physical presence at Summer Game Fest, they needed a campaign that could deliver impact through press, influencers and international reach - all tied to a surprise shadow drop moment.
Bastion handled PR, influencer and localisation across multiple markets. We led PR across English-speaking territories and coordinated with local partners through the OneVoice network to secure global coverage in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and China.
At the same time, we pre-seeded news and codes with trusted press and creators under NDA and designed a paid influencer activation centred on the game’s distinctive keyboard-mashing mechanics. To bring this to life, we sent creators playful prop kits filled with foam swords, mini plastic hands, fake fish, boxing gloves and other items designed to create entertaining chaos on stream - all under a playful activation called “Smashing Romans”.
